leave you hanging! Hehe... I'm sure the anticipation was killing you!
So anyway, we are staying here. Michael's new job is right here... no moving. It is so totally unexpected, but very good. There of course was a little drama involved. We found out Wednesday that the original plan was not going to fly. Not only were we not going to South Carolina, our top choices were San Diego or... JAPAN! Ack! I was shocked, but quickly became excited. We've wanted to go overseas. That doesn't come along often. So for about 12 hours we were going to Japan in 2 months. Except for having to take care of all the stuff that goes along with moving to an overseas station in a very quick fashion, I was strangely cool with this. Then next morning, Michael found out he didn't fit the job description, but there was this other job... so now he's some coordinator of something or other. He's not even sure about the details, but he talked to the dude he's replacing, and it sounded like a good opportunity. Not necessarily career enhancing, but a unique experience and most importantly a chance to rest for Michael. This will be good.
No to go about truly settling into New England...
BTW, our church was so great about all this. I had no less than 4 people praying for us within an hour of finding out about the change of plans. People who clearly care... it was a wonderful feeling (I'm tearing... that should tell you something). I have found a church family. I recommend that to anyone.

Can I throw up now?
So Michael isn't getting orders where we expected... basically it's far away or really, really far away. It's exciting but I think I might just throw up.
Pray hard please. We are once again making big decisions with very little time.

ugh!
Sitting here figuring out how much house we can afford when we move. Gag me! All of Michael's allowances and such change with the new place... add to that the "ease" of living in housing the last year. No home-type payments... just phone and cable. I don't even have a clue of what to expect for electricity, water, etc. This is the sucky part of finding a new place. I am much more prepared for the fun looking at houses part!
