Okay, so I saw this on my friend Kris' blog. I think it rocks.

Ten years ago, I:
  • was a 15 year old sophmore at Bayside High School
  • had just begun to notice boys. I especially noticed this one...
  • was beginning my life as a high school Thespian (think drama club).
Five years ago, I:
  • had been married for 2 years to a wonderful guy I met in high school.
  • has just finished my first college class, Anatomy and Physiology I.
  • was waiting to be accepted to the Respiratory Therapy program at Tidewater Community College.
One year ago, I:
  • was 8 months pregnant.
  • was working 2-3 days a week at Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters.
  • was decorating our first house for Christmas.
So far this year, I:
  • had a baby boy.
  • have discovered what sleep deprivation really is.
  • learned how to keep a house (relatively) clean. That's how it is when you only work 5 shifts in 8 weeks.
Today, I:
  • need to go to the grocery store.
  • will finish wrapping some gifts.
  • have to give Connor a bath.
Tomorrow, I:
  • will make my "Special Secret" cookies.
  • will load up the car and head to Richmond for our extended family Christmas.
  • get to spend a day with Michael. He doesn't have to work!
In one year, I:
  • will be chasing around an almost 2 year old.
  • will be 20 lbs. (at least) lighter.
  • will be back to work full time(ish).
In five years, I:
  • will be living somewhere other than Virginia.
  • will have at least 1 more kid.
  • will be an experienced and well regaurded Respiratory Therapist.
In ten years, I:
  • will be deciding where to settle once Michael retires.
  • will have an 11 year old boy and other kids.
  • will be recieving offers for management positions at hospitals around the country.
