Some random thoughts in the morning...

I had my first fitness evaluation today. I also got a new scale that does body fat percentage (yikes!). My new weight is 213.2 lbs and 46% body fat (ah!). The new scale is about 2 lbs lighter than the original. That's okay though. I like feeling like I lost 7 lbs instead of "just" 5. I increased in all of the eval areas. I can now do 11 modified push-ups (original 8). I'm rather excited. I can even do the v-sit so my fingertips are at my heels. Yay! Now I think I might actually start a planned diet. I have been eating better... no fast food, no soda, heaps of water... but there's much room for improvement. I need to get in more veggies. I got some salad stuff at the store yesterday, so that will probably be my simple beginning.

I have a meeting with Curt today. I am chairperson of my first committee at church. We actually have money too! I didn't know that when I agreed... I thought I wouldn't have too much to do with no money, but.... I guess I was wrong. It's all good though. I have a few cheap ideas and a few expensive ones. I want to run them by him and see how realistic my ideas are. Having never done anything like this before, I don't know.

I also have the normal Tuesday night rehearsals and stuff. I miss having Praise Team every week, but it is very nice to not have to be there soooo early on Sundays and not have to drive there in the middle of the week on occasion. I miss the group though. Of course, it's changed a lot with new people and since we don't rehearse as much it's been hard to get used to the change as fast as usual. We'll see how it goes tonight.

I found out Sarah cut her hair off... and it is sooooo cute! I think she's a little reluctant about it, but hair grows back, just ask me!

Connor has started walking. It's not his primary mode of locomotion yet, but I think it will be shortly. He gets braver with it everyday. He's such a big boy. He's also finally started listening to "no". He doesn't start crying every time now either. He's still testing me though. He'll look at me before/while he does something he shouldn't. It's a little funny, but it gets old. He'll grow out of that... once he moves out!

Until next time....

Connor: slowly stretches to reach the dvd's on the entertainment center...
Tracey: "No, Connor... No"
Connor: slams hands on the ground and places head in between them, sobs
Tracey: "HA haha.."
Sarah: "He hehe..."
