Here I am at work again. All my days for this 8 weeks was pushed to the end, so I'm getting another taste of what it's really like to work. Anyway, I am trying to survive the last hour before I give report. I'm sure you've been there. It's so close to leaving time and yet it's so far away. It always drags along.
I brought Connor's baby book to journal in, but I'm not feeling like emoting over pictures. Too much brain power required. Instead I've been surfing the web, looking for information on allergies and excema, but I haven't found anything that really gives information. I guess I'm just going to have to tie Connor's doctor down before he rushes out of the room this time. I just want to know what to expect and when I should start pushing for a real diagnosis. Connor has food allergies... so far dairy, oatmeal, cheerioes (what kid is allergic to those?), and wheat bran. I call them food allergies but I'm not even really sure they are. Milk is a pretty definite one. He vomited and got hives from cows milk based formula and has gotten rashes from yogurt and cheese coating on a cracker. All the others just make his excema flare up. I don't know if that is a "sensitivity" or an "allergy" or if there's really any difference at all. Ahh! I thought breastfeeding was supposed to save me from all of this. So much for that theory! ;-)
Well, I just killed 15 minutes. Maybe I should find something work related to fill the other 45. Check ya later!
