101 things in 1001 days... a mission

The Mission:
Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days.

The Criteria:
Tasks must be specific (ie. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (ie. represent some amount of work on my part).

Why 1001 Days?
Many people have created lists in the past - frequently simple goals such as New Year's resolutions. The key to beating procrastination is to set a deadline that is realistic. 1001 Days (about 2.75 years) is a better period of time than a year, because it allows you several seasons to complete the tasks, which is better for organizing and timing some tasks such as overseas trips or outdoor activities. (from Day Zero)

Sounds like fun, doesn't it? I've known I've needed to set some goals for a while, but haven't been too excited about it. The timeline has always gotten in the way! A year was too short. Five years was too long. Something would come up that would make a task impossible in the given time. 1001 days was just perfect. So after much thought (and reading of others' lists), my list is below. I will strike through completed items and put a date on them. I did leave several blank. I figure in 2.75ish years time I might come up with a few goals I would want to meet. I will do a blog post about completed items. Please, if you feel you can help with anything on my list, let me know. Some of these things I've put on here with little idea how I will get them done. :-) That's the fun of it!

Wow Tracey, that's really impressive! You go girl! You've motivated me to start thinking about making some goals after reading your list. 101 goals sounds pretty overwhelming to me right now though. Good luck! Look forward to hearing about your progress.

All the best with achieving your goals. You have categorised yours into manageable groups - something I've yet to do.
